Last week I was invited along to the launch of The Mac Factory pop-up in Debenhams on Oxford Street. I absolutely LOVE mac and cheese so I was excited to go along to try it out. I took my lovely friend, Genevieve, with me as my guest. The Mac Factory was established in 2014 by South African chef Graham Bradbury and is a firm favourite in Camden Market and festivals around the UK. I was invited along to Co-op’s Christmas in July Press event in Marylebone a couple of weeks ago. It was about 30 degrees that day so Christmas was pretty far from my mind, to be honest. However, I love Christmas so it didn’t take too long to get into the festive spirit! The room was set up in stations, which included snacks, breakfast, starters, mains, dessert, cheeses and drinks. The centrepiece was a gorgeous Christmas tree display of confectionery and gift items. Co-op’s food developers were on hand at their stations to talk through their Christmas range and answer any questions.…
A couple of weeks ago I had the most amazing invite pop up in my email inbox: would I like to attend the Henley Royal Regatta with Debenhams and choose a dress for the occasion? Um, YES PLEASE. I’ve never attended the Henley Regatta but my idea of it is that it’s a bit like Ascot, but with boats instead of horses. That assumption was pretty spot on.
