My love of travel definitely comes from my parents, who were both avid travellers. In fact, my mom had lived in three different countries before she had turned 30. My dad hitchhiked across the world before he met my mom and my sister had lived in about five different countries in her twenties. Travel is in my blood! And I’m lucky to have a husband who loves it as much as I do.

My travel style is slow and stylish. I like to plan to a certain extent but leave time for spontaneity and adventure. Sometimes my best discoveries are ones I just stumbled upon. In terms of where to stay, I always opt for luxury, boutique hotels or stylish holiday rentals. And always a gorgeous bathtub if possible!

Food is definitely a huge part of our holidays and we always do our research when it comes to the best restaurants to eat at. There’s nothing worse than a disappointing meal on your holidays or discovering that the restaurant you want to go to is fully booked.

One of my favourite and most memorable meals was at Villa Cimbrone in Ravello, on the Amalfi Coast. Everything about it was incredible – from the stunning setting to the delicious food and the excellent service. Perfection.
