Ten happy things – March 18

In this monthly blog post, I look back and choose ten things that made me happy and that I’m thankful for. Here are my Ten Happy Things for March. Getting my ski on I’ve never skied before but always wanted to so when I was invited along to Chel-ski by Club Med to giving skiing a go, I jumped at the chance. But was it for me? I, Tonya Earlier in the month I found myself with an unexpected day off – as a freelancer, this doesn’t happen very often so when it does I try to make the most…

Lebanese delights at Abd el Wahab

I was invited along to an Influencer dinner recently to try authentic Lebanese and Arabic cuisine at Abd el Wahab in Belgravia. Perfection is a lie Just a scroll through my Instagram feed and I’m inundated with beautiful images and perfect posts – even the filters are perfect! Seen a picture of a top Instagrammer somewhere iconic, like the Taj Mahal, and weirdly there’s no one else…

Why is flexible working not mainstream?

It’s 2018. You can control the lighting or heating in your home via voice or an app on your phone. You can talk to someone on the other side of the world, using just 280 characters, Skype or via a messenger app. You can organise your life via your phone. There’s no doubting that technology has changed the way we live and work and helped make us more efficient so why are we still outdated when it comes to office working? Why is it that most companies prefer to have someone 9 to 5, sitting at their desk? Alesia Kazantceva…
